.Oh, hey, a Basket Star!  The lump at the top of this Gorgonian is a kind of Sea Star (starfish) that can climb.  During the day, they try to hide, sometimes looking like this, all folded up.  Then at night, they spread their multi-tendrilled, feathery arms to create a net to catch whatever food drifts through.
.
This image was a surprise, I was cropping something down in front, and the little cropbox opened up on this scene.  Romantic looking or something.  The swishy 'limbs' that we're looking through in front are animals, Gorgonians, or sometimes called soft corals.  Then the blue thing is a sponge, and a Sea Fan behind it, and some yellowish brain corals.  If I paint this, I guess I'd have to put a fish in it.
.
Ha, a really funny sponge.  Or funny if you see faces in it.  Oooooooo it says!  Or anything else.  Sorry, my odd sense of humor.

Ah, must run meet some girls for a dive!  More photos for you tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!
