90 feet deep

This is some scenery along the Salt River Canyon.
.

Not quite this dark and spooky, once again, a camera doesn't have eyes.  There's my dive buddy looking back at me.  It's called "Same Ocean, Same Day" dive buddy.  People with cameras always go so slow.
.

More scenery.
.

A little pinnacle.  My buddy is still within sight, that's good.  The string thing is 'Wire Coral'.  I found several lobsters and critters that the group didn't see, because they were rushing along trying to see it all.  No way to get their attention!  You cannot effectively whistle underwater.
.

Long ago, a sailing ship lost an anchor.
.

This anchor probably weighs 500 pounds or more, that's well more than 200 kilos.  I bet there was much hollering and yeowling on board when an anchor became stuck and irretrievable!  Probably took all hands to pull up one of these things.
That's a Trumpet fish, the long skinny critter above the anchor.
Ah, have a great day, and thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hey, that anchor looks like it's from the wrecked Santa Maria from Columbus' first voyage in 1492. A real valuable artifact. Do you think you can find it again?
